Key Beliefs
1. The Authority of Scripture
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the final authority in all matters of faith and practice.
2. The Trinity
We believe in one God, revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—three persons, one essence.
3. Salvation by Grace Through Faith
We are saved by God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ—not by our own works.
4. Wesleyan View of Grace
We affirm prevenient, justifying, and sanctifying grace. God’s grace goes before us, saves us, and transforms us toward holiness.
5. Free Will and Human Responsibility
We believe people can accept or reject God’s grace and must respond in faith and obedience.
6. Sanctification and Holiness
God calls every believer to a life of holiness, empowered by the Spirit. We are to grow in love, maturity, and Christlikeness.
7. The Church as the Body of Christ
The Church is the community of all true believers, called to worship, make disciples, and serve the world.
8. The Sacraments
We celebrate two sacraments:
• Baptism (including infant baptism) as a sign of God’s covenant
• The Lord’s Supper as a means of grace, open to all who seek Christ
9. The Role of Laity and Clergy
Every believer is called to ministry. Clergy and laity work together to lead, serve, and build the church. The ordination of women and men is fully affirmed.
10. Connectional Accountability
We are a connectional church—walking together in mutual support, shared doctrine, and accountable mission.
11. Marriage and Sexual Ethics
We affirm marriage as a covenant between one man and one woman and call all people to purity and faithfulness.
