Growing in Faith
At Lake Houston Methodist Church, our Revolution Youth Group is where students grade 6 - 12 come to fellowship with others, and grow in their faith. Youth are taught about Jesus and have opportunities to put their faith into action through leadership and missions.
Youth have a place Sunday mornings, Sunday evenings and Mid week on Wednesdays.

Help Youth Attend Summer Missions
This summer our youth group is attending two summer missions trips!
FUGE CAMP!
On June 9-14 sixteen youth and adults will travel to Arkadelphia, Arkansas to attend FUGE CAMP! The camp includes activites, times of worship, and then service opportunities during the day. They will be doing everything from yard work, to helping with Vacation Bible School for local children.
Fuge camps costs around $400 per participant. The youth have already made a $100 deposit.
There are also around $2000 costs for vans and travel expenses.
UM ARMY
In July we have 14 youth and adults currently signed up to go to UM ARMY in Beaumont, Texas. They will spend their time building wheelchair ramps, porches, doing yard work, painting and more. Evenings include program and worship time as well.
UM Army costs $300 per person. We do not foresee a need to rent any vehicles but would need additional funds for supplies and travel.

Sunday School
On Sunday mornings we have Sunday school at 9:45 upstairs in the CFC.. It’s the big metal building in the back. Just go in the front doors, in to the gym and hang a left and go upstairs!
Sunday Funday
On Sunday evenings from 5 to 6:30, we have Sunday Funday. Sometimes, we hang out and play games, and other times, we do mission projects or have an organized event. Be sure to check the youth calendar and social media.
Worship Wednesday
On Wednesdays during the school year we meet at 6pm for Dinner and Hangout. From 6:30-7pm we have some organized games and then move upstairs for worship and small groups!
Special Events
Throughout the year we have special events which happen outside our normal weekly schedule. Summer brings mission trips and outings. Other retreats, trips, and projects occur throughout the year as well. Be sure and stay tuned to social media, and join our remind to stay up on what all revolution youth is doing!
