2 & 3 Year Old Sunday School Class and Children’s Church Class Coming Soon

Informational and planning meeting March 2nd, 2 p.m.

Following the heart of Lake Houston Methodist to have people Discover a relationship with Jesus, Connect with others, Grow in their faith, Engage with their gifts and talents, and to Lunch into a ministry for and with Christ, we are looking to launch a new ministry on Sunday mornings. As families with young kids come to discover our church and connect with what we are doing here, they need a place for their children to connect, grow and engage. So if you have gifts, talents and a heart to work with two and three year olds, we want to invite you to be apart of lunching our 2’s and 3’s Sunday School class and Children’s Church Class.

What we are looking for…

Teachers

4 people filled with the Spirit of God and a heart to teach Bible stories in an engaging and relatable way.

Able to to but together crafts, and sing fun kids songs.

Willing to work one Sunday a month teaching both the Sunday School time (9:30- 10:50) and the Children’s Church time (Release from service after worship to the end of Church).

Willingness to be a role model and love and pray for each kid.

Helpers

Looking for 4-8 people filled with the Spirit and have a heart to work alongside the teacher as a helper.

Prep and hand out snacks, run kids to the rest room, help direct kids who are off task, and have lots of fun with them.

Willingness to be a role model and love and pray for each kid.
